Better Bones & Balance Class = BBB Class – targeting bone strength, balance, mobility & core strength.

Physiolates = Pilates based Exercise Class taken by a Physiotherapist.  (Zoom online available for this class)

Hydrotherapy = Exercise class in warm water, non jarring exercise taken by a Physiotherapist

 

All Classes are taken by a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist.

*All participants must have been to an Assessment with a Physio prior to attending any PHYSIOLATES classes or Hydrotherapy. 

**Please Note:   If there are less than 2 people attending a class then the class may be cancelled due to lack of numbers. All clients booked will be contacted if this occurs. Class times are subject to change, all booked clients will be notified. If you are wanting to attend a specific class please phone our friendly reception staff to confirm the class time & booking availability.

***Cancellations/Refunds PolicyMinimum of 4 hours notice for any class cancellations or a fee of 100% will incur. Refunds are available for any unused class packs with a $40 administration fee.

Physiolates includes Pilates based exercises and is a full body workout using your body as resistance, bands, balls, floor exercises & stretching. 

Better Bones & Balance

classes target bone strength, balance, mobility & core strength.  An assessment with a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist is necessary before attending the class if you have not been to us before. A Bone Mineral Density Scan is recommended which will be discussed in your assessment consultation. *GP referral needed to get this scan. Medicare & DVA accepted.  Diabetic group exercise classes with Exercise Physiologist available.

Physio & Ex Phys Group Classes are Health Fund Refundable.

Practicing Core focused exercises on a regular basis;

Increases abdominal strength, and provides support for the weight of the uterus and baby (if pregnant), and acting as a splint for the spine to decrease back pain & strengthen your lower back.

Aids childbirth by making the pelvic floor muscles stronger and giving the mother greater body awareness. Aids in weak bladder control of the pelvic floor muscles.

Increases stamina, creates stronger, toned abdominal muscles. Great for sporting athletes core strength over all types of sport.

Promotes good posture and strong core strength, which help to control the amount of pelvic tilt. Excessive pelvic tilt can create posture problems and lower back pain.

Improves circulation and helps to prevent varicose veins and leg cramps.

Reduces general aches and pains by improving posture.

Aids breathing in labor and reduces shortness of breath during pregnancy.

Quickens postnatal recovery and back injury due to bad posture.
