Amar’s philosophy in allied health is a holistic approach with patient centered care through evidence based practices. Evaluating individual patient needs & delivering safe & effective exercise interventions for people with acute, sub-acute or chronic medical conditions, injuries or disabilities. These include areas of musculoskeletal, cardiorespiratory (respiratory & pulmonary), mental health, neurological, nutritional, cancer & metabolic conditions such as diabetes management.

Another focus area of practice is in aging population prescription & youth athletic development. Amar tailors his consults to not only clinically, but also within home, office, gym, aquatic & other areas that are specific to patient needs. Originally from Perth, Amar completed his undergraduate in Human Movement Studies at QUT with recent completion of his Masters in Strength & Conditioning with ECU.

Amar’s services can be accessed under the Chronic Disease Management Scheme (CDMS), Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA), health insurance & privately.


Antonio McCray – (Gold Coast clients only)

Whilst obtaining his Bachelor Degree, Antonio was also pursuing a professional sports career. As an elite athlete, he was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to compete in a variety of University level sports, US Olympic Trials and NFL tryouts.

After completing a Bachelor Degree in Exercise and Physical Education, focusing on the biomechanics of human movement, Antonio was offered a position as an assistant strength and conditioning coach for Arkansas State University, USA. It was here that he began to implement and develop his skills and knowledge as a high performance coach and Exercise Physiologist. He achieved great success at this university and became highly sought after so it wasn’t long before he was offered positions at some of the top ranking Universities in the USA, North Western University and Southern Methodist University.

Antonio is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist (AEP) with ESSA and specialises in functional strength, movement mechanics, injury prevention and chronic diseases.
