“Correct injury management and prevention improves productivity”
Physiotherapists at ACE Sports Medicine can assess and assist in organising and developing correct ergonomic design for the work place. By doing so this can help to prevent injuries from occurring or reoccurring and help injured workers return to work sooner.
The most common form of assessment is of the office desk. Make sure that the computer equipment, desk, chair and stationery are all in the correct positions for appropriate use. There are a number of other factors involved like posture, eye sight, noise, lighting and regular breaks that can contribute to poor work place set up.
